Development from two single vineyards. A south-facing terraced slope in front of Uetikon church and above Banhof Uetikon. Due to the poor soil conditions and the constant cool breeze from Lake Zurich, a unique microclimate prevails in this self-contained vineyard parcel. The wine is matured in 225-liter French oak barriques. Peppery, tart, finely greenish bouquet with blue berries and a hint of smoke. Subtle fruit on the palate, fine tannins interwoven with aromas. Structure still fresh and juicy, well-built body. Storage recommended.
